Shanneece Eyre is a solicitor in the Wills, estates & tax planning team, based at our Lincoln office.
Shanneece specialises in private client work, and she supports our clients with a range of services including Wills, Probate, Inheritance Tax and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Shanneece advises clients with regard to Trusts and HMRC’s Trust Registration Service and also has experience in obtaining Court of Protection Deputyship orders and supporting clients and their families who are often navigating emotional situations such as loss of mental capacity.

Wills
Shanneece is well-versed when it comes to advising and assisting with the preparation and execution of Wills. Her role involves drafting both simple and complex Wills.
Shanneece is able to support clients in determining the best solution for their circumstances, including instances of inheritance tax planning, protecting their estates against possible claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and issues concerning capacity and queries regarding local authority care.
Probate
Shanneece provides a wide range of Probate services to our clients. This includes obtaining a Grant of Probate, dealing with inheritance tax and administering both simple and complex taxable and non-taxable estates.
Her experience has seen her secure specialised Grants of Probate such as Grant De Bonis Non, required in situations when the sole or last surviving personal representative has died during the administration of the estate. This also includes Grant Administration Ad Colligenda Bona, required when the collection of assets only has been permitted in order to preserve the assets of the estate.
Shanneece also has experience in obtaining Grants of Probate of foreign Wills and estates featuring domicile issues.
Her probate work has also seen her obtain Letters of Administration regarding intestate estates, required when a client has died without a Will, or the named executors are unwilling or unable to act and an attorney has been appointed for probate purposes.
She offers empathetic yet practical advice when it comes to obtaining probate for deceased clients and supporting their next of kin through the legal process.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Shanneece has particular expertise in dealing with Lasting Powers of Attorney. She advises clients regarding health and welfare and property and financial decisions and is able to support clients with the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
She has experience with revoking current Lasting Powers of Attorney and Enduring Powers of Attorney. She also supports clients - and their families - with potential capacity issues in order for them to make the best decisions going forward based on their circumstances.
Education
Shanneece achieved a 1st class Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Lincoln. She then completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with a Masters at Leeds Beckett University, before qualifying in October 2023.
Voluntary work and memberships
Shanneece is a junior member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers - formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly. As a member, she is responsible for delivering the best outcomes for clients of all ages who are facing important life decisions, including those who may need extra support.
She has also completed the Law Society Client Care Micro-credential, giving her the skills to provide the best client care in the private client sector.
